Xiamen to tighten ban on fireworks during Spring Festival 2014 厦门紧抓在2014年春节期间烟花燃放
Fireworks are still strictly prohibited in Xiamen’s Huli and Siming District this year while allowed only in parts of the 4 mainland districts, according to Xiamen Fireworks Security Management Team. 根据厦门烟花爆竹安全管理团队告知今年烟火仍严禁在厦门湖里区和思明区,虽然在其他只允许在4本土区内燃放。
During the period between December 2, 2013 and February 15, 2014, the authority will launch a series of inspections on fireworks. Police will pay close attention to the illegally setting off fireworks especially on Chinese New Year’s Eve, the 8th February of the lunar calendar and the Lantern Festival. 在12月2日,2013年至2014年2月15日期间,当局将进行一系列的焰火燃放检查。警方将密切关注非法燃放烟花庆祝尤其是在中国的新年和2月8日农历元宵节。
Setting off fireworks has prompted a lot of concern among the public recently.
